Higher Professional Technical Course (CTESP) in Aeronautical Production Launches in Ponte de Sor – Applications Open Until AUGUST 12.
The Higher Professional Technical Course from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal will take place at the Ponte de Sor Municipal Airfield, with applications open from July 14 to August 12.
Ponte de Sor strengthens its position as a strategic hub for training in the aeronautical sector with the launch of the Higher Professional Technical Course (CTESP) in Aeronautical Production, promoted by the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal in close partnership with the Municipality of Ponte de Sor. The course will be taught at the Municipal Airfield facilities, one of the main development centers for the aeronautical industry in the Portuguese interior.
With a strong practical component and a focus on the job market, this CTESP aims to train highly qualified professionals to meet the specific needs of the aeronautical production sector, particularly in areas such as structural assembly, production processes, quality control, and industrial maintenance.
Applications are open from July 14 to August 12 and are aimed at students who have completed secondary education, as well as professionals seeking to reskill or enhance their expertise in a rapidly growing sector.
The second application phase will run from September 24 to 28, 2025.
This initiative is part of the broader strategy to qualify and promote talent developed by the Ponte de Sor aeronautical cluster, which is currently responsible for hundreds of highly skilled jobs and the establishment of leading national and international companies.
The course is co-financed by EU funds under the Alentejo 2030 program, reflecting the shared commitment between local government, higher education institutions, and the European Union to invest in advanced training outside major urban centers.
